The NIH Common Fund’s Science Of Behavior Change (SOBC) program shines a spotlight on mechanisms that underlie successful behaviour change. In this symposium, the SOBC approach will be introduced, followed by discussions linking mechanisms in the domains of social relationships, stress reactivity, and delay discounting to health.
