Modeling the Psychological and Social Dynamics of Beliefs
We take a complex adaptive systems approach to understand beliefs. The researchers, representing diverse theoretical orientations, use mathematical, network, and computational modeling, as well as empirical data, to examine the psychological and social dynamics−social circle, minority influence, and attitude coherence−that underlie changes in beliefs and attitudes.
