Social Thermoregulation: Exploring the Link Between Close Relationships and Thermoregulation
Social thermoregulation theory posits that the co-regulation of body temperature is a motivating force for attachment bonds. This symposium includes three high-powered projects and one expert discussant that highlight the recent findings supporting this proposition. Collectively, we conclude that environmental demands such as temperature fluctuations shape attachment bonds.
