It Takes Two to Tango (in the Mind): Interpersonal Influences on Cognitive Processes
This symposium will discuss recent findings about how human’s cognitive functions are influenced by other individuals simultaneously engaged in the same tasks. The topic goes beyond joint action and addresses the social influence on visuospatial perspective-taking, self-referential processing, and social attention. The social basis of everyday cognitive functioning is highlighted.
