Recent Advances in Research on the Ability Model of Emotional Intelligence: Examining Predictive Utility and Mechanisms
Emotional intelligence includes the abilities to perceive, understand, and regulate the emotions of oneself and others. We present some of the latest findings in the study of this construct including evaluations of construct validity, predictive utility, and mechanisms by which emotional intelligence leads to better stress management.
