Can We Talk About Smells? The Neurobiological, Psycholinguistic, and Cognitive Links Between Olfaction and Language

Saturday, March 9, 2019 · Paris, France

Other

The sense of smell, olfaction, is often viewed as difficult to describe verbally. The research on olfactory-language interactions has generated theoretical discussion of broad relevance to cogni-tive and perceptual psychology. We will discuss research findings from neurobiological, psycho-linguistic and cognitive perspectives in order to provide a theoretical, interdisciplinary integra-tion.
