The Real Virtues of Virtual Reality in Social Cognition: The Case of Approach-Avoidance

Saturday, March 9, 2019 · Paris, France

Social Psychology

This symposium will examine how Virtual Reality (VR) extends the possibilities to investigate the relation between approach-avoidance behaviors and evaluative processes (e.g., approach-avoidance measures and manipulations) and how it opens up a number of emergent issues that call for further empirical and theoretical proposals in the domain of approach-avoidance.
