The Development of Understanding Beliefs and Reasons

Saturday, March 9, 2019 · Paris, France

Experimental Psychology

This symposium aims at an interdisciplinary debate about the structure and development of understanding beliefs and reasons of others. We scrutinize the concept of a reason, provide philosophical and psychological perspectives on explicit and implicit false belief tasks, and situate this in a layered model of intentionality and representation.
