The Dynamics of Social Interaction: New Approaches for Neuroscience and Autism
This symposium explores the neural, physiology and cognitive processes that support imitation, conversation and empathy in people with and without autism. The presentations use fNIRS, TMS, physiological recordings and motion capture to understand the dynamics of how two people coordinate in real-world social interactions.
