Where Do Our Expectations Lead Us? The Effects of Commitment and Trust on Cognition, Joint Action, and Communication

Our understanding of the cognitive and social processes involved in trust and commitment has advanced in recent years. However, investigations of these two drivers of social expectations have evolved independently. This symposium will provide an overview of recent research and will explore connections between the processes underlying commitment and trust.
