An Interdisciplinary Exploration of Visual Attention as a Tool for Social Communication and Behavioral Coordination

This symposium will provide an interdisciplinary perspective on the function of visual attention for communication and behavioral coordination across species and contexts, and will highlight its role in (sub-)clinical populations with reduced social-cognitive abilities. It will showcase a multitude of methods, including behavioral measures, eye-tracking, electroencephalography and single-neuron-recording.
