Spontaneous Person Inferences From Behavior
When observing others' behavior, people immediately draw inferences about underlying person characteristics, often without the intention or even conscious awareness of forming an impression. The current symposium integrates research using different approaches to further investigate the underlying processes and functions of such spontaneous person inferences in first impression formation.
