Partisan Psychological Barriers to Addressing Climate Change
This symposium examines how attention, interpersonal contact, social norms, and social identities collectively influence attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors toward climate change. Employing a multi-method social climate science approach, the papers use diverse samples from Europe and the US to understand (and overcome) partisan psychological barriers to addressing climate change.
