Approaching Gender Equity: Evidence From Research on Quota-Based Hiring, #Metoo, and Language Change

Saturday, March 9, 2019 · Paris, France

Social Psychology

This symposium provides new input about how to better understand and alter gender inequity. Evidence comes from both lab-based and naturalistic investigations of peer role models, quota-based hiring policies, the #MeToo movement, and changes to sexist language. Together, the findings have theoretical and applied significance.
