The Rationalization of Inequality: Privilege Denial, White Identity Politics, and Tolerance of Bigotry
Inequality remains a constant feature of modern life. However, the rationalizations employed to excuse inequality are constantly in flux. We present 3 papers exploring novel ways in which inequality is rationalized, namely, the use of merit to conceal privilege, the normalization of white identity politics, and tolerance of overt racists.
