Big Data Meets Psych: Advancing the Study of the Effects of Digital Technologies on Youth Mental Health Using Digital Ecological Momentary Assessment, Ubiquitous Sensing, and Machine Learning

Ecological momentary assessment is an efficacious methodology to study dynamic processes such as mental health phenomena, and increasingly researchers are expanding the use of multi-level modeling with self-reported data to include: time-series analyses, and sensing analyses, with machine learning being a useful analytic tool for the analysis of sensing data.
