Ecological momentary assessment is an efficacious methodology to study dynamic processes such as mental health phenomena, and increasingly researchers are expanding the use of multi-level modeling with self-reported data to include: time-series analyses, and sensing analyses, with machine learning being a useful analytic tool for the analysis of sensing data.
