Aging and Autobiographical Memory

This symposium explores how cognitive aging influences autobiographical memory. Speakers will describe how different types of episodic retrieval, problem solving, functions of autobiographical memory and event centrality are affected by aging. Together these data provide novel insights into how healthy aging affects the content and functions of autobiographical memories.
