Trauma and Posttraumatic Stress in Cross-Cultural Contexts
This symposium examines the complexity of trauma and post-traumatic distress in four different countries (Cambodia, France, Vietnam, and Zambia). The papers address the multi-level and often multi-generational risk factors influencing a range of psychosocial and behavioral outcomes and highlight the need for culturally robust approaches to intervention and treatment.
