Perception

This symposium discusses novel findings on the bi-directional relation between affect and perception. The talks demonstrate the importance of affect for motion perception, implicit learning, optical illusions, and expectations. These relations are discussed from classical (perceptual fluency, predictive coding) as well as novel (perception is intrinsically affective) theoretical perspectives.
