The symposium presents an attempt to integrate different approaches to defining and applying meaning in psychology: meaning-focused research in schizophrenia based on the personal constructs theory, meaningfulness of life in cancer based on the Kreitler meaning system, and the textual approach to story analysis based on Greimas approach
