The Role of Domain-General Abilities in the Development of Basic Arithmetic Skills
The involvement of domain-general abilities in numerical cognition is a timely and debated topic. The speakers will present novel findings regarding the role of inhibition and perception in numerical cognition. We will also discuss how numerical cognition can inform us about domain-general abilities, their development, and their role in learning.
