Linking Inflexible Processing to Repetitive Negative Thinking

Friday, March 8, 2019 · Paris, France

Clinical Science

Repetitive negative thinking (RNT) is a transdiagnostic factor in the onset and maintenance of psychopathology. Theory suggests that cognitive inflexibility plays an important role in RNT. This symposium examines, using diverse conceptualizations of flexibility, its causal role in RNT and in associated emotional symptoms.
