The Precarious Balance of Cognitive and Affective Factors: Investigations of Brain Mechanisms of Developmental Psychopathology

Friday, March 8, 2019 · Paris, France

Neuroscience

Following a neurobiological model of motivated behavior emphasizing imbalances in neural development among subcortical systems and prefrontal cortex functioning, this symposium highlights four studies using a developmental psychopathology framework to examine neural correlates of emotional reactive and cognitive control systems as risk or protective factors contributing to psychopathology.
