Social Cognition in the Face of Threat
Adaptation to external menaces includes threat detection and selection of appropriate responses. The present symposium combines insights from social neuroscience and social psychology to better understand how those two basic processes interact in the human brain, in order to sustain adaptive behavior in response to social threat.
