Income and Subjective Well-Being: Existing Controversies and New Data
This symposium addresses three unresolved issues in research on income and subjective well-being (SWB). What are the relationships between income and different forms of emotions? Is the relationship between income and SWB consistent across nations of differing economic development and inequality? Does income predict life satisfaction over the long-term?
