A Symptom-Based Approach to Depression Using Network Analysis

Friday, March 8, 2019 · Paris, France

Methodology

Depression is complex and heterogeneous. Empirical research on depression can be enhanced by a symptom-level network approach, which views depression as an emergent phenomenon produced by interactions among many variables. We examine complex relationships between depression symptoms and comorbid conditions, cognitive vulnerabilities, resilience factors, and biological factors.
