Predicting Political Attitudes: When the Left-Right Distinction Is Insufficient
Left- vs. right-wing orientation alone can be insufficient for accurate prediction of political attitudes. Four talks with samples from the US, UK, Turkey, and Switzerland will highlight how cognitive and group level variables can be as important political orientation for predicting attitudes on issues like immigration, Brexit, and same-sex rights.
