The two-headed, dual-process view of human thinking has inspired numerous psychologists, economists, and philosophers. However, despite the popularity the framework faces multiple challenges. This symposium will familiarize the audience with recent empirical work and advances in dual process theorizing on moral, economic, and logical reasoning that addresses key outstanding issues.
