2019 International Convention of Psychological Science
New Approaches to the Scientific Study of Beliefs and the Believing Process
Recent research shows great interest in the process of believing as a fundamental human function, how beliefs are acquired, stabilize, and eventually lose force and become extinguished. A new approach, the Creditions model, provides neurophysiological and cognitive foundations in open interaction with recent developments in artificial intelligence and Bayesian calculus.
