Classroom Acoustics: Effects on Speech Intelligibility and Learning
In a classroom, speech-to-noise ratio, reverberation time and speech determine speech intelligibility of a spoken message, which in turn determine memory and learning. Cognitive ability and language proficiency (native, foreign) also play a part for memory and learning. The symposium will address these issues.
