Rapid Social Change and Its Resistance: The Search for Underlying Dynamics
This symposium focuses on understanding the rapid and often unanticipated changes in societal norms, attitudes, and values that are increasingly manifest in today’s world. The participants, representing diverse theoretical orientations and expertise, will discuss underlying processes that go beyond the idiosyncratic features of each instance of rapid social change.
