How Does Exercise Improve Mental Health?
Physically active individuals report greater wellbeing and are less likely to develop mood and anxiety disorders relative to their sedentary peers. The purpose of our symposium is to showcase new findings regarding exercise’s role in mental health, including research on mechanisms mediating these benefits.
