Social Mimicry: Broadening Our Understanding with Interdisciplinary Perspectives
Social mimicry is the tendency to imitate each other automatically. In this symposium, we consider social mimicry in different relationship contexts (i.e., professional and romantic relationships) and aim at enhancing our understanding of mechanisms and consequences of mimicry from different perspectives, presenting developmental, gender empowerment in leadership, and clinical approaches.
