African American Women and Maternal and Infant Mortality: Doulas and Emotional Health
This symposium focuses on our doula-led CBT SOS sister circles with low-income, urban, Black expectant mothers. A significant number of these mothers have lost at least one child before the first birthday. We present data that examines the impact of the SOS intervention on reducing the death rate among infants.
