The Role of Attention in Self-Reference Effects (SREs) on Memory

Thursday, March 7, 2019 · Paris, France

Cognitive Science

Covering developmental, cognitive and neuropsychological research, we examine (a) the underpinning of childhood SREs by attention, (b) the level of attention to self-cues required for SRE elicitation, and (c) the role of attention in integrating self-referenced materials. This will provide insight into the multiple roles of attention in SRE production.
