Finding Strength through Adversity: Post-Adversarial Growth Among Immigrants and Refugees
This symposium focuses on resiliency and post-adversarial growth among first- and second-generation immigrants and resettled refugees in Canada, the United States, and Germany. While these groups are often considered psychologically at-risk, these four papers examine successful integration outcomes and their corresponding pathways to development using both qualitative and quantitative methodology.
