The Grand Challenges in Global Mental Health Initiative has identified research priorities for the next decade to address prevention and treatment of MNS disorders. Research in cultural neuroscience identifies biomarkers related to mental health. Here we discuss cultural neuroscience research to address the grand challenges in global mental health.
