Moderating and Mediating Effects of Rumination in the Association Between Stressors and Psychological Symptoms

Rumination has been established as an important predictor of psychological symptomatology. This symposium explores the mediating and moderating roles of rumination in the relationship of stressors to mental and physical distress across several contexts and populations, thus advancing theory and allowing us to specify proximal targets for intervention.
