Trait Narcissism: Advancing Theory and Current Research

Authors from the recent Handbook of Trait Narcissism integrate new and traditional narcissism theories with current evidence. Topics include: the role and function of communal narcissism, narcissistic impacts on romantic relationships, how perceived control helps distinguish the narcissistic subtypes, and new motivation theory to understand the subtypes’ similarities and differences.
