Affective Moderators of Self-Regulation: Implicit and Explicit Processes

This symposium presents new insights in the role of affective moderators of goal pursuit. The contributions highlight recently discovered roles of outcome desirability, implicit goal valence, implicit affect, and individual differences in negative affectivity and advance the understanding of how affective processes influence implicit and explicit aspects of self-regulation.
