The Microbiota-Gut-Brain Axis in Psychological Science: From Experimental Neuroscience to Clinical Potential

Studies in animals and small groups of humans demonstrate that gut bacteria influence mental health. With this symposium we aim to bridge disciplines and call for involving psychological science to provide the first steps toward an understanding of the human microbiota-gut-brain axis and its potential for promoting mental health.
