Thursday, March 7, 2019 · Paris, France

Personality/Emotion

Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) was performed on presidential candidates’ acceptance speeches. The presidential speeches of Donald J. Trump (2016), Hillary R. Clinton (2016), Barack H. Obama (2008), and George W. Bush (2000) were analyzed. The resultant analyses showed differences that can be attributed to personality traits.
