Abstract
This study examines the psychosocial consequences of age discrimination in the workplace. Preliminary analyses (N=156 middle-aged Chinese workers; Mage=47.9,SD=6.88) reveal that greater experiences of workplace age discrimination are associated with limited occupational future time perspective (r=-.195) and higher psychological distress (r=.208), but are not related to generativity behaviors (r=-.058).
