Abstract

A considerable body of research has shown that individuals with Major Depression exhibit overgeneralized autobiographical memory. This study aimed to reduce overgeneralized autobiographical memory among mild-moderately depressed individuals with a novel episodic specificity induction. Findings offer preliminary support for the use of this induction to target cognitive alterations in depression.
