Inhibitory Control and Emotion Recognition in PTSD: Nepal Earthquake

Abstract

The present study tried to examine the inhibitory control and emotion recognition in posttraumatic stress disorder. PTSD took more time in recognition of happy faces compare to sad and neutral faces. nonPTSD showed advantage in accuracy of emotion faces compared with PTSD. Findings suggests PTSD impair the inhibitory control processes.
