Abstract

Neural correlates of encoding attentional cues were examined, using high-density EEG. In agreement with our predictions, shifting attention in response to cue identity elicited early activation in ventral visual stream structures, and shifting attention in response to landmark features of the cue elicited early activation in dorsal visual stream structures.
