Abstract

Effects of brief interventions on emotion regulation and well-being were investigated in females. The interventions focused on positive emotions (three good things) or reappraising negative emotions. Both interventions could reduce rumination and increase self-compassion and life satisfaction. Non-clinical samples can benefit from brief interventions that require only little daily effort.
