Abstract

Cumulative conflict risk scores (interparental, mother-child, and father-child conflict) were added to a model of interparental and parent-child conflict 5th, 6th, and 9th grade predictors in relation to adolescent depressive symptoms. Cumulative mother-child conflict predicted adolescents’ depressive symptoms, above and beyond concurrent father-child conflict.
