Abstract

A sample of 106 gifted adults and 106 control participants answered the Sociotropy-Autonomy Scale. Gifted, as compared to control, participants scored significantly higher on the Sociotropy and Autonomy scales. Results suggest that gifted adults do not have the same needs in terms of frequency and quality of social interactions.
