Abstract

Consistent with conditional process models, victimized adolescents were more likely to carry weapons when they were highly aggressive or had difficulties regulating their anger. In contrast, links between victimization and weapon carrying were minimized for highly prosocial adolescents as well as for those with difficulties regulating their depressed affect.
